I already own this game but the old diskettes are now defunct I want to know if I can get it off anyone?

im assuming you must have upgraded operating systems? If you go into your computers BIOS settings, you can configure the type of diskettes that your diskette drive reads. Try changing it from a 1.4 meg to a 1.2 meg or whatever the next smallest option is.
