DOS/Win, you just push your enemy

Post by FOD »

Hi.

I'm looking for an ancient game on DOS or Windows, I'm not sure anymore.

The game was top down and you had creatures on some kind of platform. There were different heights and depths on the platform and the aim was to push the opposing creatures from that level over the abyss. Anyone who was pushed over the edge fell down.

If two identical creatures were facing each other, nothing happened. You either had to push with two creatures or stand on a hill to be able to use the slope.

There were fast creatures, but they were weak. And slow ones with more strength. So there was also a tactical component. And the platform got smaller and smaller over time.

I only had a demo back then and I don't even know if it ever became a finished game.

Thanks!

Panda Push? (Not old but seems to match the description)

Unfortunately not. But the game is similar to Panda Push, although not turn-based, but in real time. And it's really top down, you see the characters from above, like in the first GTA.

Is top-down as from straight above, or slanted/isometric view?

Any puzzle things, or just pushing opponents?

Single player vs computer or vs human player/s? (maybe not so easy to know if it was a demo, also demos may not be documented at mobygames)

also, as usual: old means nothing to us, can you estimate what year you may have played it?

If you had a team of characters under your control, maybe it was a tactical/strategy game?
turn-based or real time?
