I want to find a game that I used to play more than 20 years ago, I am not sure from what year this game is but I assume it's from somewhere in the 90's. These are some of the details I remember that may serve you as clues:
The character of the game was a ball with a face.
It would start in a place that was kinda like a maze but not really, just some walls and passages here and there, and the character would have to break the walls and find its way to get to the exit.
The character would start locked in a small space and then it would have to break the walls in order to move through the level but it would have to be done carefully because there was some type of gravity and if the wrong wall was broken, a lot of those blocks would fall and cause explosions, maybe trigger traps or simply fall on top of the character and kill it.
Eventually the character would clear almost all the walls (obstacles) leaving the place almost empty before getting to the exit and also getting some bonuses.
I think the character had 2 ways of clearing the obstacles (walls), pushing them and also eating them from the sides (not sure about this though).
The game has a little over 100 levels
I think I found this game in a Windows 3.1 installation, not completely sure though.
In the same installation I found the game Bumpy's Arcade Fantasy which is also a game where the character is a ball with a face, the mechanics of this game are very different but, did those games come together or from the same developer?
Please feel free to ask questions.

I found it by following your link at the Game Concepts: Boulder Dash at Download Central. It's called Supaplex.
This game is so good there are so many places to play it. Someone even made a remastered version available in multiple platforms including Android, Iphone and Steam:
supaplex.me
I will be able to relive those moments.
Thank you.
