DOS/Win spy game, 1990-1996

So, this is a long shot, cause I don't have much info on the game.

It was a DOS or Windows game, between 1990 and 1996, I think.
I just remember a sequence of the game, I think from the beginning, cause I only had the demo.

You start hidden behind some bushes, left and right of you, tropical. In the distance you see a ship, modern ship (for that age). There is water between you and the ship and you have to swim over to it. I think the ship was in a river?
The game was I color
I think it was a spy game, it had some suspense.
Maybe point and click.

That's all I recall.
I've been searching for it for years, it was something I played when I was very young.
