adventure , click and point , windows : an elf looking for his girlfriend !

Greetings everyone !

I am looking foe a game i used to play ( around the years 2000 to 2003 , i don't remember well ! )

the game is about a blue pony hair and elf who is looking for his girlfriend ( red to pink hair i guess ) , as so it's an adventure - quest game , there are some problemes that you need to solve ( Not a puzzle game )

it s a click and point games as i mentioned ( so a 3rd person game ! )

what i remember from the game is that ; there is a dark room , i open the dore to find myself in a bug race , an other door leads me to a room where to pass i have to use fire arrows because a stupid white ghost won't let me pass ( i hated him xD ) , there is also a desert i need to pass ( i had to be aware from scorpions )

The first pony-hair blue dressed guy that comes to mind would be Twinsen, in one of his two 3D adventures.

Not sure if I would call it point&click adventure, and he is not an elf, but he is sure looking for his girlfriend, and there are desert locations.
