2D pixel adventure game that i forgot the name of it !!!

Hi, hope you guys doing well
I remember that i played a game in my childhood, that should be released between 1995 till 2010. It wasn't from a famous company i think.
The story was about a guy with orange shirt and long hair. some monsters stole his sister so he should enter some worlds with portal. he fights with animals, monsters, robots and ... in different worlds just by jumping on them (like mario). there are some fruits on the way that you can earn points from them.
i truly remember that the boy wore an orange shirt and he had long brown hair, and his sis wore a pink or purple shirt with blonde hair, there were some story comics in the game before some of the levels. and there were a great photo of that bro and sis on the main menu.

i really loved that game, hope i could find it, i will be thankful for any guess that you have !

i played that on pc, and i think that it should'nt have a console version, cause it was not that famous. and thanks for the reply !
