Hi everyone, I am asking for help to find an old DOS game I used to play in the middle of the 90s here in Germany as a kid. Unfortunately, I do not know much. All my past searches did not bring up results. Thank you in advance.
In the game, you needed to walk in first person view through a 3D maze and fight enemies. I believe, these enemies were robots. Maybe aliens, but I am leaning more towards robots. Certainly, it was a Sci-Fi / Tech setting. You could also pick up different items. There were doors to open and close.
There was a boss enemy.
I do not remember the plot.
The screen was divided. At the bottom was a panel with information. There was a 2D map to help you navigate the maze. At the beginning, the map was dark and it evolved while you were walking the maze. I don't remember the exact position of the map, but I believe it was on the right side of the screen.
I believe the game was in black and white. I am not completely sure, if there was color. If yes, it was not much color and all in all a dark graphic style.
The game came on a floppy disc. I believe - not sure - that the floppy disc was packed in an almost complete white box. There was no colorful cover.
I believe there was a code-wheel copy protection, but maybe I confuse this with other games I played at that time. Using code-wheel as search criteria, I already searched mobygames, but did not find it.

Just a few minutes ago, a friend of mine gave me a hint and I finally found the game. It is Day of the Viper
