I'm looking for an old website that contained (what I believe was) Flash games. Instead of just clicking on links to open individual games, you wandered around a dungeon and would open doors, which would then start the Flash game you chose. You could also chat with other players while in this lobby. You could change the color of your text. This was in a first person view. I don't think it was true 3d. If I had to guess, I would assume it was like an old school first person dungeon crawler.
One of the Flash games involved creating monsters by mix-and-matching head, torso, legs before battling other players. I believe there was an experience system with this game as well.
This would have been around 1998-2002.

It may have been Battlethingz by Jagex, but I didn't see any photos or YouTube results in a few searches. I found a post on that subreddit which led to a Jagex Fandom page.
It sounds 100% like the game I was thinking of. Now I just need to check if Games Domain was the correct website. It is listed as hosting BattletThingz.
Edit: this is 100% it. I just found another Reddit post talking about Games Domain Castle which hosted this game in a 3d castle space. Apparently I can't post URLs but I'm quite confident this was it.
