Strategy, while fighting people bring food to the battle front [Knights & Merchants]

I uesd to play this as a child, it cant be older than 2005. It was on windows platform, a little simmilar to stronghold, where you gave to make food, build farms for material to make battle units. The main thing that stands you is that while batteling an enemy force, your people that are not in front will start to bring food (wine and bread perhaps?) to your army.
Maybe some one knows what i am talking about?
