Looking for: registered versions of Battlestar 1 and 2 (vivvid technologies):

Post by Spaceveteran »

Hello to all, this is my first post. Great to be on this site.

So I'd like your advice on 2 matters here. The first is my request:

I'd like to find and secure the registered versions of battlestar 1 and 2 from vivvid technologies. There is a vid on YouTube about Battlestar 2 in action, with a comment from the game creator Mr Bradley Allen.

Sadly, I can't find any email of him anywhere and have a very small presence on social media platforms like YouTube. As such, could anyone here possibly help me to rouse him and question him about the games?

Second, I'd like to propose a number of registered versions of games I have been able to secure from their authors (alongside rights to distribute freely) as a contribution to the site, and also as a pendant to my request regarding the Battlestar games. Should the admin agree, I could send them so you might upload them on dosgames.
Titles include on the top of my head:

-starfire (silver lightning design), liberated by Paul turbett
-star hammer (silver lightning design), liberated by Paul turbett.
-xerix 2: the caverns of Mars, liberated by Brendan reville
And most recently:
-worldquest V2.0, liberated by Chris Egerter.

Should you be interested in helping me and/or acquiring the games on dosgames please let me know.

Hi, and welcome to the forums!

I'm not able to help you with contacting Bradley Allen, but I'm quite interested in the liberated games that you mention. Do you have them uploaded somewhere? Have you contacted the dosgames.com admin?

I have contacted the admin using his portfolio site, but I have yet to receive a reply.

My goal is to preserve the games in any possible way. If those games are hosted on dosgames.com, more power to me and you.

I understand you can't contact this person, however I would appreciate if people from this community posted this request on his channel. Maybe a volume of posts dealing on the same request would be enough to make him take notice, where my lonely post has not made enough noise to justify a reply it seems.

Incidentally, I have other dos games I haven't mentioned that are in the same category. I would gladly make them available as well.

Could you please start a thread in either General Gaming or dosgames.com Site Suggestions and outline your collection? The dosgames.com owner will gladly add full versions that have been liberated by the authors.

It has been done, sorry for the delay. Work is not leaving me much time.

On the other hand, as said previously, I'd appreciate help by other forum members regarding my request. Any gesture would be welcome.
