90s, sci fi arena death match [XS]

Hi I played a demo of a very fun game many times when I was a kid, I'm pretty sure it was a DOS game from the 90s, a sci fi arena shooter. You had to kill other thugs/characters in a death match arena. The maps were very dark, and the rival AI characters were original and interesting, including a Medusa character with a gun. It was original feel even if it was pretty much an FPS.

The only DOS arena deathmatch FPS I can think of is XS. I didn't remember a Medusa with a gun there but apparently it's there (NSFW warning: screenshot).
