Late 80s/Early 90s DOS(?) educational game. "Lexicon Castle"?

I played this in the early 90s, it may have been a DOS game. It was an educational game about words/reading and had a title that was something like Lexicon Castle/Palace/Dungeon, but I'm not certain of the second word and "Lexicon" might have been spelled differently. I remember it having a medieval setting and a similar art style to mobygames. com/game/mind-castle but with darker colors and tone. The only other thing I remember was a green troll-looking character, maybe wearing glasses, who I think guided you through the game. Thanks for any help!
