The mass cant be that high since its mostly gas. Gas doesnt weigh much.

FWIW, our atmosphere weighs over 1 billion pounds of pure gas... and much more in the form of water (which can also be commonly found as a gas) consider that some HEAVY metals such as mercury can be found as gas... along with the fact that there are many heavy gasses in Jupiter... and you'll realize that gas DOES weigh a LOT.

Consider that Jupiter is over one thousand times as large as the earth and you'll start to understand how massive it really is.

Okay, here's another Hamburger quesiton:

If hamburgers are made of beef and are named after hamburg, Germany, then why are veggie burgers called veggie burgers? Shouldn't we either rename hamburgers to beefburgers and keep veggieburgers as veggie burgers, or rename veggie burgers "veggie hamburgers"?

Fun fact: There's a small town in New York (I think) named "Hamburg" and the PETA actually offered the city cousel a large sum of money to change the name to "Veggieburg." No joke, they really did. Of course, Hamburg didn't accept the money but still... it's hilarious that they would go that far.

Goat: Because a "Burger" has come to mean any sandwich made like a hamburger while ham-burger means beefburger. Don't ask me why, but it's tradition and would be too inconvienient to change.

As for veggie burgers.. they should rename them to "Cardboard between a bun", or "Crap-sandwich..."

oh and one more thing... I dont know if it is still like this, but Hamburgers in Europe were/(are?) Ham in a bun...

1 billion isnt a lot compaired to the weight of the planet. This planet weighs 6,588,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 tons.

Mercury is not found as a gas. It is liquid at room tempature, giving it its weight.

And wardrich, if you go to mcdonalds, you can call them shoes!

1. Kazer0: Mercury *IS* found as a gas in atmosheres hotter than our own. (218 degrees (102 C), the tempurature of the inside of Jupiter, is more than enough to vaporize it)\

2. there is only 7 miles of gas on the Earth compared to nearly 30,000 solid. Naturally, the solids wiegh a lot more.

3. Look it up if you don't beleive me, I'm tired of your senseless arguments.

I think if someone told me i looked like a male transvestite, i would be a bit hurt cos it would mean there were some aspects of me that must look manly for someone to say that.

But then having said that, im sure theres some parts of me that do look manly, cos every girl must have some manly part.

I think if someone was going to say that, it would probably because they were drunk, so I probably would be as well, and then wouldnt care, or even remember the next day

Do you think it would be the same if someone told a bloke that they looked like a woman who was a transevestite, but they looked like a really good man?

Um, maybe for different reasons? Freespace II and Half-Life were both game of the year the same year... but FSII for Space Sim and H/L for FPS/overall.
