Marble Puzzle Game

Post by Bartjaah »

Another one, I think my last request for now, haha.

- MS-DOS. (I think atleast, played this at a friends house in the mid 90's)
- Top-Down puzzle game with a simple maze.
- You controlled a Black marble (mostly placed in the middle at start).
- You could control the marble to left/right/up/down.
- When you moved your marble in a direction, all the other marbles in the maze moved the same way.
- You lost when your marble became in contact with another one.
- I think your mission was to bring the marble to the exit(hole?).

- I don't know what year nor the name
- Might contain a quite darker colour-palette. Mostly some grey and some bright-yellow. (again, not sure)
- I think it REALLY REALLY looks like OXYD (another Dosgame), although that's a completely different game, where you don't controll all of the marbles.

Some levels of DroD (Deadly Rooms of Death) have that mechanic, when you get the 'clone' and have to control them.

There were several Oxyd releases, any chance one of those others is a variant and the one you're looking for? Or maybe they're just new levels and different platforms.

Quadralien has some odd mechanics, don't recall if that's one of them, long shot, worth a look!

Any chance it wasn't "marbles" but some other round something that might help us search?

The way I remember this game it looks exactly like Oxyd. But there were more balls in the game that you all steered in the same direction and you failed when one hit another. This made it real hard sometimes to finish a puzzle.

I'm calling them marbles but they were black like in Oxyd. So more like canonballs.
