This archive turned out to be corrupted: one of the installer files inside, JADEMO.001, reports a CRC error. It can be extracted from the archive but the installer won't work, making the game Impossible to install. There exists an earlier distribution of the same demo (also called jademo.zip) which works fine, but only if DOSBox pretends that the installer runs off a floppy disk.MrFlibble wrote:Sirtech Software
- Jagged Alliance: jademo.zip
The Wayback Machine copy of Sir-Tech's website also contains another instance of the demo, found here. This file is broken but PKZIPFIX can restore it. This version contains an intact JADEMO.001, and the only file missing from the archive is JADEMO.002, which can be obtained from the archive linked to in the quote above.
Using these two files I've assembled a working copy of the installer, downloadable here: jademo.zip
