No, I'm just saying that 13 is rather young to be judging yourself as fully physically developed individual, regardless of what you look like. In a few years you may either 1. Mature into a more aesthetically pleasing body or 2. drop this self-degrading, pity party attitude and realize you were pretty all along. (Chances are, it'll be the latter)

You're only as ugly as you think you are. If you believe yourself to be ugly, then, no matter what, you convey your feelings in your appearence.

I know I'm not the most attractive guy out there but I accept it. Be consent with what you got. Don't live in dpression and be jealous of what other people have or things you don't have. Beauty is only in the eye of the beholder.

Yeah, everybody has imperfections. If we didn't have imperfections, we wouldn't be human, and thus we'd look uglier than we look now to other ugly, but normal, people.

yeah, I completely agree with Dogbreath, I think other people are attracted to people for the way they put themselves across. People that seem happy I think always seem more attractive than unhappy/grumpy people, even if theyre not physically as attractive. Although appearance is the initial thing you see, after that I dont really think it counts for much.

I also dont believe there is a single ugly person, someone will always find a person who may think themselves to be ugly attractive!

Iris: Right on! Personally, I think we judge what is "ugly" and what is not by styreotypes from pop culture rather then by real standards.

I wasn't arguing that. I was arguing meeting somebody online.

If I'm truly interested in somebody, I'll look in their eyes. A good body doesn't mean anything, but if your eyes can connect without looking elsewhere, you'll know that you're attracted to them in more than just a physical manner. Of course, as stated earlier, I don't date this young, but that doesn't mean I'm not waiting for somebody. I'd only marry a fellow Jehovah's Witness, anyway, so she'd more-than-likely have the same morals as I.

That's one of the reasons I don't look at porn. Not -the- main reason, just one of the reasons. I don't want to get the mind-frame that body is all that counts.

The -main- reason is that it's disgusting, immoral, and a sign that you have lesser than no life. Yup, you've dropped into the negatives, buddy.

If you were to look directly into someone's eyes - when they don't know that you like them - they'd also have to be looking into your eyes (or at least your face) and then ... awkward moment!

Da_Goat: What if their eyes had been poked out with a gleaming hot metal rod? Then what would you do? Hmm? HMM?

Thought body didn't count...

;)

I agree with ya, though. Sometimes eyes are more of an attraction than the body.

I always feel weird when I even look at someone in the face area at all. That's why I always look away or at their feet when I talk to someone.

I have always noticed eyes of people. Eyes are always so beautiful and seem to have something undescribable by words.
