Cavalry Archers with full upgrades own all. At least, if you're good enough to focus fire and avoid those mangonels.

I'd say this game is one of the best out there - as far as I know the only one to allow such huge armies, while keeping it easy to control it all. I'm using the expansion. However, I prefer WarCraft 3.

Roam: I wouldn't post if I were you.

Well we have AOE 3 here. But I still think AEO 2 is the best of 3. I loved playing and spending time with it. It is among the best game I played.

Graphics are amazing even today. I mean, it's not revolutionary, but they work like a charm, extra pretty.
