Xargon : Beyond Reality Secret areas
Xargon : Beyond Reality Secret areas
Hi, does anyone know how to get to the ***secret areas*** in Xargon 1? If you could let me know that would be great. And if you have absolutely no idea what Xargon is, you can download it off of page 3 of the Side-Scrollers section of DosGames.com. You will love this game if you liked Jill of the Jungle, and especially like it if you liked the idea of the gameplay in Jill, but didn't like the fact that it had 100% total absence of a story (which is rather disapointing ). That's about all.
"You believe me," I said gratefully.
"Of course I do," and he held out his hand. "I believe everything out of the common. The only thing to distrust is the normal."

Yeah, 'tis true...
True, true, Da_Goat.... I did appreciate the fact that Xargon had a storyline more though...

Why does everyone hate Xargon? (pout pout)
I actually thought Xargon's graphics were better, IMHO. I did, however ask in the beginning if anyone knew how to get to the secret areas in Xargon. Does anyone??? As emzee says in his review of Xargon on Dosgames, though, Xargon does have a rather 'heavy' feel when controlling Malivineous (or whatever his name is..)

Thanks for the advice 486, I was aware of that general idea, however, having gotten accustomed to it from such games as Jazz Jackrabbit and Commander Keen 4. Particularly I would like to know how to get to the secret area in the level "The Enchanted Forest" Is there an actual secret in it other than the cleverly disguised platforms that look like specks of dust suspended in the air???486 player wrote:Some walls are actually tunnels. Jump into 'em. Ther's a popup note if level has one.

Ok, does anyone want to hear about the Jill rip-off?
It is... (drum roll) VINYL GODDESS FROM MARS!!!!
Don't waste your time downloading it off of Dosgames.com. It is a complete ripoff of Jill, except more boring. What the goddess wears is disgusting.
It is a all-around stupid game.
