Hi everyone! I'm looking for an game for a long time but cannot find. I don't remember name. It is an machine game I think NES.
here are few hints:
- It is multiplayer game (1-2 players)
- It is 2D game with side camera (not top)
- First level is at military base. There are plains on which player can jump
- If player runs out of ammo there are special doors (with mark on it) where player can enter and refill ammo
- user can jump, go into doors, go down, left and right and fire. Also on some levels player can use static machine gun
It is a little bit similar to this game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9J3ZqFCFqhk. Movements are the same
Thank you all
Old game do not remember name
I've been trying to come up with something helpful, but no luck so far. Great description, just no memories on my part. It reminds me of the very recent Bionic Commando Rearmed game, but that's no help.
Dos wasn't great at the run-and-gun platformer games. There were a few ports, but the only good games like that I knew were dos-only - games like Duke Nukem, Commander Keen, Jazz Jackrabbit.
It's also possible this game was an arcade game, ported to NES and so forth. You might have some luck looking for that version.
Do you remember around what year you played it?

NES Rolling Thunder? (Alternating 2-player mode, what I gather.)

It's Rolling Thunder; has to be. If the description didn't give it away, the comparison to Capcom's unabashed clone, Code Name: Viper, sure does. The arcade/Genesis sequel (Rolling Thunder 2) has two-player co-op play.

These have long been two of my favorite games. (Rolling Thunder 3... not so much.)
