Top-down 2D space [Inner Space]

Post by Solus_1 »

It's been in the back of my mind for years now. I remember playing it on my parent's old PC. I'm not sure what the objective was but you were able to get numerous ships in different ways. There were other ships flying around as well as asteroids. I remember that if you broke the law some type of space police would chase after you and use something like a tractor beam laser like it was handcuffs. Then you would go to court, there weren't any people shown so it would just show your ship in front of a tall judge's bench. It had to be around before or after Win 95 came out because the graphics were very poor. I also remember that there was a ship that looked like a bat from hell, all fiery and left flames in its wake.

I'm sorry that its a very vague description but it was a very unique game to me.

Recap

2D Space shooter
A law system
Random asteroids and ships moving in space
Unlockable ships either through passwords or through gameplay
Early to mid 90's
Ran on an OS before Win 98
