Hi. I want to run a 1996/7 game called 'Strike Base'.
By all accounts it only works on DosBox these days, but I can't get it working. I TRIED things like compatibility mode, but no joy. Unless anyone has any tips for that?
Anyway.
I tried dragging the .exe file onto DosBox, which works for a lot of games, but no luck.
'DOS/4GW fatal error (1004): syntax is DOS4GW (executable.xxx)'
Any ideas? I'd like a quick route rather than having to become a master of DosBox, I'm only a casual gamer! Will somebody please think of the casual gamers!
Can you help a poor child run a DosBox game, Guvnah? [Win7]
Ah sooooo...
and now the usual questions:
Original game? Downloaded? CD?
Your dosbox mount lines?
Inputs to install/ run game?

If you expect to install/run games as strike base in dosbox without putting at least some effort in it: forget it.poshbloke wrote: Any ideas? I'd like a quick route rather than having to become a master of DosBox, I'm only a casual gamer! Will somebody please think of the casual gamers!
