Star Trek Final Unity dosbox .74 freezes at startup screen

hey there,

I have STFU downloaded from a torrent.

Can't get past the main startup screen.

it freezes for a while, then boots me back into dos saying something along the lines of sosDIGIinit or something like that

any ideas?

Don't download a bad rip from torrents.

FYI: STTFU runs fine in dosbox 0.74. (original game).
