hi, please help find this old fantasy .... [Ecstatica II]

i remember playing this game back in the mid 90's
it's an adventure game, in a fantasy setting, with 3d models over pre rendered backgrounds

the opening scene is of the hero is in a sort of castle courtyard, imprisoned in one of those wooden devices that holds the head and hands, lighting strikes and he is mysteriously freed and you start to control him and somehow find a sword and escape.

It's an adventure game with combat and graphics similar to Alone in the Dark.

The name has been on the tip of my tongue for months, it's something like Eudaimonia 2, or Phantasmagoria 2, or Symphonia 2, and it's a sequel so theres a 2 at the end.

I've been cross referencing forever at moby games but can't seem to find it and it's driving me nuts. Please help
