Cant open games - system does not support fullscreen mode !

I have windows vista home edition.

I downloaded DOS game Mega lo Mania, and Cannon fodder.

I installed DOSbox and followed instruction regarding mount.

When i open the the folder and click the install.exe file it says 'THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT SUPPORT FULLSCREEN mode'.

I don't know what else to do. If i press alt/enter when DOSbox is open that becomes full screen. I just dont know if the games will open and if they will how to open them

Please help

This is not a dosbox error message, but a Windows Vista command window error message.
Simply means you do not trying to run the games in dosbox but you are still in Vista's NTVDM.

So:
Your dosbox version?
Your mount lines?

My dosbox number is 0.74

i have opened DOSbox options - and in the typepda dox i have put

mount c "c:\users\(username)\oldgames"
c:

after autoexec...

i have unzipped the game folder contents into the oldgames folder inside a folder named 'megalomania' and another game into a folder called cannonfodder.

now when i open DOS box it says
z:\mount c "c:\user\(username)\oldgames"
z:\>c
x:\>

i have no idea what to type into this DOSbox to start up the game??????

x:\> ?????? Should be C:\>

Anyway:

megalomania and cannonfodder are too long, max 8 chars.
So rename to megalo and cannon.

To run mega lo mania:
run dosbox and input:
cd megalo
mega

Cannon fodder:
run dosbox and input
cd cannon
cannon

If that doesn't do it, you will have to ask where you downed the games, means they've altered the games somehow.
