RTS Engine

Does anyone know a good rts engine that could be used to make windows games? Like games such as Red Alert, Tiberian Sun, Warcraft, Starcraft... etc. They exsist, such as the tiberian sun engine that westwood accidentally told us about.

Would be nice to have a RTS engine, I would love to get my hands on one.

The 2d Age of Empires series would be nice.

Yeah, 'twould be wonderful. Or the Star/Warcraft engine, though I think that AoE's more flexible.

Oh wait, I just remembered. There's a game called "FreeCraft" on Game Hippo. It's just a WC2 clone right now, but when the final version comes out (it's in beta), it should have a working engine.

on www.qbrpgs.com there are a few. i never tried them, so i have no idea just how advanced they are though. download at your own risk.

I searched up FreeCraft and sadly Blizzard had it removed since it was too closely related to Warcraft 2 and its engine, Don't you hate them for this now!? :Angry:

sorry for the thread digging but it found this thread with google.com and there DO is an RTS maker, called Freecraft but I haven't sawn a windows version anywhere (only linux) maby any of u guys could try to get it in a windows version
