So everything came back fine.
Still don't completely know what that file is though.
And is Comodo named thus because it is like there is a giant lizard sitting on the other side of the invisable internet wall that will not let me pass? Comodo hates everything? Blocks my connection attempts even on the lowest settings.

Uhhh, COMODO relies on the user telling it what to allow and what not to(in this case: whether to allow a program to connect to the interwebz), so when asked, you should allow the programs you trust(if you didn't get any dialogs, might want to reset your Firewall/Defense+ policies).
Alternatively, just uninstall COMODO and ban your boyfriend from pr0n sites under penalty of disembowelment.

And now pumpkin, as you have spybot S&D installed, it's about time to clean up a bit the complete mess your system probably is without screwing up some more things .....
Run S S&D, look in the menus and select "advanced mode"
Look down and hit "Tools"
Hit "system startup"
And here you'll haveprobably a lot of cleaning up to do
*** Whatever you do here, do NOT select "delete entry", but simply uncheck the corresponding box for some entries, so that, if needed you simply can restore that entry should it be needed ..... some descriptions can be confusing and cryptic so to speak ....***
Things to uncheck:
Everything that is messenger/facebook/twitter/mail related
Everything that is printing software related
Everything that is adobe (should you have) related
Everything that is non windows sytem related ( upgrade check for whatever and whatnot, extra toolbars .......)
And a lot of other things, don't be afraid, you always can re-enable them, as long you don't hit delete, and windows will re-enable things that windows really need.
Next thing to hit is the submeny 'system internals'
And here you let the thing run, hit "fix problems"; and here:simply "delete" all that S S&D has found, it's pretty safe.
Now the next step to get a smoothly running W7:
Your browser, disable/uninstall all kind of 'extra toolbars' and 'search engines' that doesn't belong there, they are real slowdowners.
Also: check all your installed non-native programs (adobe/burning/imaging/whatever softs .....) and kill the auto updates and 'run at windows startup' for them, NOT your avir or win7 native progs of course, only the third party softs.
And there is a lot more, a long long long list to do so you get a fast Win7 system, but I'm kinda bored right now....
[Edit]
And create a totally restricted account for that pron addicted boyfriend of yours, keep your account/login secret.
