Medieval type game

Post by manstie »

Hi,

There was this game I played at my friends house long ago, it wasn't a DOS game but it probably could have been...

It's where you owned a castle and you had a king that rode a horse. You could train units at the castle and they would come with the king to assist in any battles he encounteres. There was also an enemy team and you swap between movements on the map. You could find stores of gold (money (I think) ) and I once remember going through a portal to a different map...

If anyone can find this game, it would be great :D

No, it wouldn't be that easy to figure out...
there's no builders or anything, and its a turn-based game.

Heroes of Might and Magic? There are several games in the series, but I think 1 and 2 ran in DOS.

Image I think it looked like this and I got it from searching Heroes of Might and Magic.

EDIT: I found the game, but why is there a 10mb version of it and a 150mb version of it?
Asking about filesize difference, why can Sim City 2000 be 2mb or 165mb?
