I second Rise of the Dragon, it's the closest to Snatcher that I've ever played, and pretty good too, though, it can't really come close to Snatcher.

It is a Sega CD game also, I have it for Sega CD, though the PC version has a "deleted scene" so to speak.

I was never mounting to the root, I was mounting directly to the directory where the game is installed. The instructions you linked only elaborate how to have dosbox automatically mount at startup, I did do that for conveniece, as well as change the game directory to UNF. But the error still occurs....
