The windows version can still be found in bargin bins. Knowing Hasbro as it works on XP still, we'll see it again on the $10 shelf (if not a new version).

The wad is the only thing that costs money.
You can get it from idsoftware.com.
The other trick is to know that when a sequel comes out they tend to sell the old ones cheap. (ie I got final doom in the doom collector's edition for $10 when doom 3 came out).

For this game system specs are also important. setup need be run first, then the tyrian file, file0001 will not run. it is the game engine. If your computer is fast, the game engine was written in Turbo Pascal this can cause a runtime error. Is that stated on the screen? Another problem is if the ga...

Some games, esspecially those made for mac computers as well as pc are dark. You can increase the lightness of your monitor in the monitor itself by increasing the charge that gets to the screen. For CRT monitors this is ussually a screw in the rear of the monitor behind a removable peice of plastic...

It can help to also download the D-fend frontend from the Dosbox site too. It makes setting up the configuration files very easy and allows you to make shortcuts to the games being run with dosbox with no effort. Crusader is one game where if you get it to run it may still be choppy. It is a very de...

TPPatch fixes the runtime error. It needs run on file0001.exe to work, I do beleive (I fixed mine a while ago). It is just run once and changes the number of cycles being divided by.

Try changing to a different video rendering in dosbox. I find the D-fend frontend (check out the downloads section at dosbox's website for the link) makes this an easier task. This is one of those games that just needs tweaked with most settings until it works well. I can't get it to play well on wi...

Eaisiest way to make dosbox work is to get download D-fend from Dosboxe's site, and set up a configuration file (esspecially if your games are as diverse as mine). For this game you probably need 5000 to 10000 cycles. The command for 10000 cycles is cycles=10000 Theme park requires the cdrom be util...

You need to mount your cd-rom.
If you installed it normally, you need make the autoexec

C:
cd\
cd THEME.CD\
call THEME.BAT
exit

The important part being the game is in c:\theme.cd folder.
