I noticed it's as fast as the regular pc version. I just haven't played doom in a while and I played quite a few faster paced games so it just seemed slow at 1st.

There's a new flash version of doom on play.vg. It's the shareware version so it's just the 1st episode and it's a little slow so it's reccomended to make the screen smaller on the game options. It's pretty good. It still has most of the fun of the original shareware pc doom. You can't strafe though...
