I have Windows 7 64 bit, and it's telling me that the version of Windows may not be compatible with the game. I figured DosBox may help with this issue.

One more thing. I tried simply dragging the .exe file and .bat file (install) into the DosBox icon. When doing that, it gives me the message "to insert disk 2" for the .exe file. When I drag the "install" file (.bat), it tells me "No destination drive specified". Thanks...

Insert disk 2 into drive A: and press ENTER?

I'm glad to see everyone's still here and well. I haven't posted in a WHIIIILE. I downloaded Grave Yardage and took the tutorial on installing DosBox on Win 7. I did a few searches on how to get a game with an install file to work, but it keeps telling me to insert disk 2 into drive A (or C: which e...

I'm a moron when it comes to dosbox. I took a tutorial on how to use it and still can't get it to work. I guess I'll have to give it another shot.

Hero Quest issue

I'm having this issue with Hero Quest (downloaded from HotU). I am not using dos box for this. When I try to play the game, it's WAY too fast. You are supposed to click which way you want to go square by square but it just jumps all the way through each move turn in one click. Also, there is a dice ...

Okay, with the description you left, it made me think immediately "The Adventures of Link" for NES, but then you went on to say "shooting." I'm not sure but image-google some pics for The Adventures of Link if you're not sure. The reason I'm thinking it's that game is because it ...

Is that game like a Duke Nukem or something? How long is it and what would you give it on a rating scale?

Here's one that's very fun but with a learning curve. However, once you start to learn it, the rewards are outstanding. http://www.samugames.com/artifact/ ***READ ON!*** It's free to play, but you only get a certain amount of time each day. You have the option to pay and upgrade to a membership stat...

...or possibly Air Fortress? I remember that game as a child also. One of my favorites. Sort of Metroid-like... in a way.

Sorry to keep being a pain about this game, but I'm STILL searching for it after a couple of months. I googled Ironside - I don't see anything relating to what I'm looking for. I appreciate it, though.

maybe

Ironside... I'll google that. As for the BFG thing, I don't believe so. Capture the cow... why does that sound familiar. I don't know if I'm thinking that the game may have had that or if I'm thinking of some other game. However, it's VERY possible that the game DID have hovercrafts. Thanks.

yep

Yes. It was a multiplayer game like that. Where two people (or more I think) could play on one keyboard, but I don't think it was a MAME game. I remember only having to download it and install it to play. Return Fire... looks like a sweet game but this game had simpler graphics and was a direct top-...

Help me find this one please.

Straight to the point. It was a top down view tank game where you can pick between a variety of vehicles: tanks, heavy tanks, jeeps, etc. with each vehicle having it's advantages and disadvantages. You could play capture the flag between teams (CTF and other gameplay modes). It was a multiplayer gam...
