Is this Battle.net Edition or regular?

I like his sound but not him, he just wants attention.

I've had my current machine since I built it in January 2002.

The oldest machine I have is a Commodore 64 from the early 80's.

I agree, this is what I use and it works nicely.

I have a few machines in my basement. One runs from a 200meg (well 400 with Doublespace ). It's fun to fire them up and play with them for a bit.

It seems to be a dead project but it works nicely.

The oldest DOS RPG I know of was mentioned above, Akalabeth (Ultima 0) from 1979.

I really loved Jones. It's ancient and not too common. I played it in the early 90's, back in 7th grade.

In the game you are this guy and you just get a job and have a life. It's simple, but fun.

I've never gotten Blood to work stably on my XP or 2000 machine. I'm waiting on the Transfusion remake.

Jdoom is great. My 2nd favorite remake is Zdoom.

You probably want to give one of these a try instead of using the original. All you need are thw WAD files.

Ultima 7:BG was my favorite, followed by Ultima 7:SI and Ultima Underworld 1.

I have a virtual machine with NT 3.51 that works great, high res 32 bit graphics, sound, ethernet. It's not the "real" thing, but it's the next best thing.

I've been searching far and wide for a Wolfenstien 3D remake, but haven't found anything recent. There's NewWolf and WolfGL, but both haven't been updated in years.

Does anyone know of a currently being developed Wolfenstein 3D remake?

I personally use Windows 2000, but find it a bit buggy and crashes every now and then, but 2000 is probably my favorite OS. The only reason Microsoft software is so full of bugs and has many viruses that hurt it is because it's the MOST commonly used. Linux and Macs would have the same problem. I lo...

I was just curious. Usually installing skins is a relatively easy process.

You can buy it in the Ultima collection for really cheap. The only problem is finding it.

Sorry if this has been suggested, but I didn't see it. Skins for the forums would be great. They're easy to install and can give users their own look to the board. I love the Ultima series. Ultima 7 is by far my favorite, and I've played them all except the online ones. I wrote a review of U7 in the Review board a while back.

I think the blue guys say "Mein Leiben" meaning "My life" when they die. But the FAQ has them all.
