11 Year bump, but i found the game. It's 'Dig It!' And amazingly my description wasn't too far off, haha.

If the other guy doesn't pull through, I think i have it on a floppy disk somewhere. But I think as a kid I used the editor to change the original sprites. So maybe thats not a good copy either.

Gauntlet Ledends was on PS1, Dreamcast, N64, and there was "expansions" on PS2, Xbox, Gamecube and who knows what else. Originally an arcade game.

I have never released it online, it was modded for my friends in IT class. Very solid mod though, i don't play Soldat unless its with my mod! haha. Should i upload it for you guys? You guys might be interested in a MOD I did for soldat years ago, I made maps and graphic mods, and audio mods to make it 2D Halo.

Soldat doesn't do hotseat, and it was never DOS =)
