DOS Games Discussion

286s were a bit before my time but....

Doom - minimum spec of at least a 386 (everyone went uot and bought a 486 though!)
RAM - check them in different combinations in case one of the chips is faulty

Thats the most up to date version as of a month or two ago. There are also quite a few mods in production for Fallout 2. We've ripped the graphics from Fallout Tactics and converted them into Fallout 2 format so there is an expansion pack in the works by a few of the guys...

I'm just wondering is it possible to set up the IRQ/DMA/IO etc... on a modern PC that has DOS installed? I havent actaully got around to trying this, but if anyone else has already tried this It would be great to hear your experinces with it.

You may just have a currupted download, I've downloaded it from there a couple of times and it works sweet (well in DOS anyway). Else try and buy the CD from a site such as Ebay, as someone might be selling it. It's worth it for the video clips
