Pure DOS..Windows ME...easy :) There is a patch for Windows ME that enables Pure DOS mode (previously locked by M$). Hm...I remember a program circling around a while ago but I've never used it.....PITSET... Slow DOS game performance and/or music Some games will run slower under Windows 9x/NT/2k than they do in DOS. This is caused by the way Windows emulates the timer interrupt. Would be more helpful if you could give more information like OS and Speed..and perhaps some error messages or better descriptions. :rolleyes: I'll assume you're on XP given that you said you didn't have access to DOS in part 8. SO I'll run my tests on XP SP1 1. Return to Zork I don't have the game ...
