Does it need to be serial? Isn't PS2 good enough?

It's WinXP Pro and I just double click the game EXE from within Windows.
Only 1 of my computers has that keyboard problem. The others work fine.
I tried swapping the KB but no reults... [they are all PS2]

hello.... I have PS2 mouse and keyboard but DOS games don't work. I tried Mario (coz I actually want to play it) and Dave (just a random choice since Mario don't work and I'm trying to see if others work). By "don't work" I mean the keyboard doesn't work. Not sure about the mouse as I don'...
