Psygnosis was a popular British video game developer / publisher, founded in Liverpool in 1984. Their first big hit was Lemmings, and from this they went on to develop or publish dozens more games on various platforms, notably the Amiga and MS-DOS. They were bought out by Eidos Interactive in 1998 and closed in 2012.
